"Took a group of 10 families here on a charity holiday in May half term. This is about the 10th year we have done this, and the first time since Covid. It’s still a great place. We had a family room each, all with a sea view balcony offering fantastic views over the beach and out to sea watching the ships on the horizon. The rooms are clean, well appointed and beds comfortable. We had the half board option and the food at all meals was great. The don’t offer a separate children’s menu for dinner, which as children’s charity we were a party with many children. However, Barry was amazing and then organised a children’s option for dinner for the rest of the stay. Vicky is brilliant at reception - from arranging the booking, our many queries and special requests and coping with all of us throughout our stay. She is kind, thoughtful and caring - a great welcome at the hotel. The bedrooms and the public areas are clean and tidy and the large spacious bar area enables our group to socialise in the evenings and still enable other hotel guests to have their space. The young people in our group loved the pool table and the indoor pool was used by many too. Steve the Beach Hut man opposite the hotel was amazing too and he provided sun beds, wind breaks and a beach hut which made visits to the beautiful sandy beach; so memorable. It’s a great base to go out from to discover the wonderful island. Thank you everyone at the Sandringham. We will return."
